The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
